I say it's about freakin' time too! I've said it before and I'll say it again: If I had to write a book on greatest congressional accomplishments of moderate Republicans, I would make a fortune charging $29.95 for a book full of blank pages.
Being a moderate is nothing idealist. All moderates do is argue for an issue they feel is popular and run with it. Usually a moderate Republican is a northeastern Democrat with (R) next to their name; primarily to give themselves some snooty elite status. If I want a snobby, rich liberal
asshole in office, I'll vote Democrat.

Weekend Spotlight: Rush, NFL, And Rams.
I know it has been quite some time since I have posted anything. So what I am going to do is play catch up with the week's hot political story: Rush Limbaugh and The Rams.
So, the NFL does not want "controversy or divisiveness" in their league. Okay, well then why didn't Jim Irsay and the rest of the NFL have comments for these jerks that are former players or are still in the NFL:

Bam Morris
Bam Morris caused controversy when he became more known for legal trouble than his NFL career. Here is the wiki info:
On June 27, 1996, Morris pleaded guilty to felony possession of marijuana in a plea bargain deal in front of a Rockwall County, Texas judge. Police testified that they found 4 kilograms of marijuana and one gram of cocaine in his car during a traffic stop. He was fined $7,000 and sentenced to 200 hours of community service and six years probation.
He was cut by the Steelers after the guilty plea and signed as a free agent with the Baltimore Ravens. He wore uniform number 33 as a Raven. After two seasons, both marked with suspensions concerning the NFL's substance abuse policy, Morris was released. He signed with the Chicago Bears during training camp but was cut before playing in a regular season game. He then signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. He wore uniform number 39 as a Chief.
On November 16, 1997, Morris was arraigned in Baltimore, Maryland after a woman accused him of assault. Morris pleaded guilty in August 2000 to two counts of Federal drug trafficking and was sentenced to 30 months in prison. As part of the plea bargain, Morris admitted to distributing 100 kilograms of marijuana in the Kansas City area between 1998 and 2000.
On September 10, 2001, Morris was convicted of violating his parole stemming from his 1996 plea bargain and sentenced to 10 years in a Texas prison. He was released early on July 31, 2004.
In January 2006, Morris was signed by the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League. The NFL reinstated his eligibility as a player on January 13, 2006. Morris quit Predators training camp the following day stating that he hoped to win a contract with an NFL team.
Rae Carruth
Remember this guy? I think he caused some controversy as well. I believe he will get a job in the announcers booth at ESPN or CBS Wiki says:
He was found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and using an instrument to destroy an unborn child. He was sentenced to 18 to 24 years in prison. However, he was found not guilty of first-degree murder and was spared the death penalty. Carruth is now serving a sentence of at least 19 years and 11 months at Nash Correctional Institution near Raleigh, North Carolina.
Michael Irvin Who could forget the old joke about the Cowboys back in the day? I'm sure the NFL has long forgotten.
"Hey, I have some cool photos of the Dallas Cowboys!", "Yeah? So do the cops."
Irvin indeed had his own controversies in his NFL glory years. Wiki says:
In March 1996, Irvin was arrested on charges of cocaine possession at a hotel party celebrating his 30th birthday. After numerous court appearances amid a national media circus, which featured Irvin showing up to court in a full-length mink coat, he pled no contest to the charges and was sentenced to community service, ordered to pay a $10,000 fine, and put on 4-years probation. When drug-tested for illicit drugs, he tested negative. But the NFL suspended Irvin for the first five games of the 1996 season.
In Irvin's 1996 absence, the Cowboys struggled out of the gate and never recovered. Upon his return from suspension, Irvin tallied 962 receiving yards in only 11 games.
In 1998 Irvin was alleged to be involved in a bizarre incident during training camp when he allegedly inflicted a two-inch cut in the neck of Dallas guard Everett McIver while some team members were getting haircuts.[7] Whether it was battery or accidental McIver did not press charges, and rumors swirled that Irvin brokered a six-figure settlement with McIver to drop the matter. Accounts of this incident after the alleged settlement became difficult to find or research in the local Dallas press.
Michael Vick
I don't think I need to do to much work here. The fact is he served jail time and he is right back out there. Wiki says:
In April 2007, Vick was implicated in an extensive and unlawful interstate dog fighting ring that had operated over a period of five years. In August 2007, he pled guilty to federal felony charges, and was subsequently sent to prison for 23 months. With loss of his NFL salary and product endorsement deals, combined with previous financial mismanagement, Vick filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in July 2008.
Here is an article with more NFL troublemakers.
So Rush is divisive and controversial? I think the NFL needs to clean out its own closet first.

WAY TO GO AMERICA! Whitehouse Backing Off Public Healthcare!
WASHINGTON – Bowing to Republican pressure and an uneasy public, President Barack Obama's administration signaled Sunday it is ready to abandon the idea of giving Americans the option of government-run insurance as part of a new health care system.
America, you did it! Congrats! You stood up to big government idiots and they had no choice but to listen. This is what America is all about.

Sales Figures Show Alarming Slump!
Despite the bullshit the idiots in the liberal media tout, the economy still sucks. I'm not buying into all this false hope garbage.
President's Approval Numbers Slump!!!
Overall, 47% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. That’s the lowest level of total approval yet recorded. The President’s ratings first fell below 50% just a few weeks ago on July 25. Fifty-two percent (52%) now disapprove.
